  1. Wojtow says:

My bandwidth challenged network thanks you greatly for delivering these useful PyCharm updates as super quick and efficient patches. It seems that the trend these days from some other vendors is to just have you redownload a complete new (sometimes multi-GB) distro every time they make a couple minor changes.

    PRAISE THE LORD!

  3. Prother86 says:

PyCharm does not have write access to /usr/lib/pycharm. Please run it by a privileged user to update.

  4. Krishna Aradhi says:

I just upgraded to this version and now the ‘Updating Indices’ background task never completes. I even tried the ‘Invalidate Caches / Restart’ option, but no luck. :/

  5. Tom says:

The update from within the IDE does not work for me. It says downloading patch, restarts, and I’m still on 2016.1.3

  6. Sister says:

    I wanna Patch! (PATCH!)

  7. David Fraser says:

I’m also waiting for the fix to the broken copy-paste indenting. Is there a bug report for that?

  8. Gwilym says:

Is the patch update available yet?
