Check Out a New TeamCity Plugin!

Posted on by lisar

We are pretty sure that you know JetBrains likes playing games and making jokes. You think we have been preparing for 3.1.1 release? You are wrong 🙂 All this time we have been looking at the Projects page and gathered our developers feedback who complained how exhausted they were about its dull look…

So, we decided to change it for the better and developed a small plugin making TeamCity look more hmm… relaxed… Just check out new glamourous icons for tests status, Run buttons are running all around the Projects page, projects and build configurations’ names abracadabra… It’s alive now!

All the development is stuck completely – everybody is trying to run new builds but no luck, tests are running away or burning out… Ohh…

Don’t repeat our mistake! We warned you! 🙂

We wish you sunny and warm April and May!

I’m currently trying to write an XCode Runner plugin for TeamCity 4.0 EAP (build 7757) and it isn’t working. My Java is a tad rusty but I think I’ve done everything right but the RunType refuses to show up in the project configuration sections. Help!

OK. Finally figured it out. Deconstructing the layout of the fxcop-plugin.zip game me the details I was missing. I think the Wiki docs for 4.0 and the Plugin API could seriously do with some maintenance.
