WebStorm 10.0.4 Bug Fix Update Available

The bug-fix update WebStorm 10.0.4 (build 141.1550) is now available.

In WebStorm 10.0.4 we’ve addressed a number of known issues and performance problems (including some fixes in our custom JDK distribution for Mac OS users).

The most worthy of mentioning is source map support when debugging with the latest Google Chrome 43.

Another great new improvement is the basic support for the newly released Polymer 1.0. WebStorm understands Polymer elements and help you navigate to their declaration. Element-specific attributes are not yet supported, though.

Our colleagues on the PhpStorm team have added another new feature called Remote edit. It allows files to be opened from the remote host (such as FTP, SFTP or FTPS) and edited in the IDE, without adding/downloading them to your local project. Read more about that in the PhpStorm blog.

The full list of fixed issues can be found in the release notes.

As usual, a patch update is available from WebStorm 10.0.3. Is you’re using another WebStorm version, please download and install WebStorm 10.0.4 from our website.

Develop with pleasure!

I have Webstorm 10 installed on two PCs, my desktop and my laptop. Both are running version 10.0.3
On the desktop I was alerted to the patch and installed it.
But the laptop is not getting the patch, instead it directs me to the download site and acts like I will have to download the whole large install again.
Thanks for these helpful fixes and features. I was waiting for that remote editing ability. Very handy.

Please try checking for updates once again on your laptop. You can do it from the Welcome screen – Configure – Check for updates.

No, but you can actually delete a project by hitting delete button on your keyboard.

Why is Webstorm 10.0.4 not yet supporting ES7 annotations? … yet … allready all kinds of talk about kitchen sinks in 11 while bread and butter pieces missing in 10.

Annotations have been supported only recently, after the WebStorm 10 release. So this feature is available only in WebStorm 11 EAP, the stable version will be available in mid-fall.

Hello, I have installed 10.0.3 PhpStorm
In the message box I click “update” and then “Update and restart”
Download patch file and then PHPStrom restarts.

Then the Version 10.0.3 is displayed and the message box comes back again.
    Already tried more often ….
    (sorry for my bad english)
