AppCode 2022.1.2 Bug-Fix Update and 2022.2 EAP2 Build
Today we have two new updates to share with you! One is an AppCode 2022.1.2 (221.5787.30) bug-fix update and the other is a new preview build of v2022.2 (222.2889.2). Builds are available from our website and via the Toolbox App. You can also update via patch if you use v2022.1.1 and 2022.2 EAP1 respectively.
Both versions got support for Xcode 13.4.
Other fixes that made it into both builds:
- A fix for the issue causing items with full constructor parameters to be missing from the autocompletion list (OC-22819).
- A fix for the performance regression causing freezes (OC-22821).
Additionally, in the AppCode 2022.2 EAP build, we made the following improvements:
- Support for
_Nullable_resultObjective-C attribute from Swift 5.5 was added.
- The PackageDescription module was included into prebuilt caches.
- Support for references for
externmodules was added (OC-22218).
We’ve also fixed a few exceptions in the Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile plugin that occurred when debugging an application (KMA-437, KMA-440).
The 2022.2 EAP1 build brought support for UML class diagrams for Swift and Objective-C classes to AppCode. The online documentation for the diagrams has now been published, so you can learn more about them.
Here are the full release notes for AppCode 2022.1.2 and for 2022.2 EAP2.
