Toolbox App 1.20 Is Now Available in 9 Languages
TL;DR The new Toolbox App 1.20 comes with localization into 8 languages, a build for Apple Silicon users, and a couple of bug fixes, too.
Localization
Starting today, the Toolbox App is available in German, Russian, French, Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese, in addition to the default English. All the languages are available in Settings | Appearance & Behavior.
Please note that the localization feature is in Beta. Some content, such as the “What’s new” tool updates, is still only available in English.
Although we have tried to make all translations as correct as possible, some mistakes may have slipped through. If you don’t like how a specific word or phrase has been translated, we kindly ask you to send us a note about it using the bug tracker.
Apple Silicon Support
With the 1.20 update, we’ve released a native build for our users on Macs with an M1 chip. For current users working on Apple Silicon machines, the new 1.20 update will automatically replace the build with an optimized version. There is no need to do anything extra yourself.
New users can download a separate installer for Toolbox App for Apple Silicon from our website.
Bug fixes
TBX-3948 – AppImage integration is disabled for Toolbox App.
TBX-5587 – Reduced the number and frequency of requests for Keychain access.
