Lost the Find In Path displaying as a popup!!! I have become very accustomed to this. Please give back!

    Volvo pls :(

    • Edoardo Luppi says:

What do you mean? Verify you’re using the JetBrains JRE if you want to see the new find in path dialog. I had the same problem and that’s the solution.

      • Jonathan Fulks says:

This seems like a bug. Was working fine before this update.

        • Zlata Kalyuzhnaya says:

It seems that you use OpenJDK or OracleJDK, please try to switch to the bundled JDK version.
If it doesn’t help please file an issue with more details including OS, build number, JRE. Thank you.

  2. Damian Sypniewski says:

After updating all the passwords are missing… again. Why do you keep breaking that?! In the past year your platform lost my passwords twice already.

  3. jons2k says:

    14:38 Connection Error
    Failed to prepare an update:
    Cannot download ‘’: Status: 404

  4. Ivan says:

It seems the linked release notes are incomplete. They are missing 2 of the 3 fixed issues you mentioned in this blog post.

  5. Steve O'Hara says:

The “Find in Path” popup has reverted to the version we used to have a few versions ago.
Is it deliberate? Can I get it back?
    It was so useful.

  6. Neha says:

Is IntelliJ 2018.1.6 community is licensed version? Is it not available for free download and installation? I wanted to download any of the free version of IntelliJ latest than 2017.1? Can anybody please advice which version I can go for?
