Posted on by Andrey Cheptsov

Now that IntelliJ IDEA 2018.2.1 is out, it’s time to start v2018.2.2 EAP! Here’s a list of the most noteworthy changes that you’ll find in the EAP build:

  • Fixed a couple of performance issues related to VCS (file scanning)
  • A number of fixes around Java coding assistance (inspections, quick-fixes,
    refactoring, etc)
  • Database tools now support ClickHouse out of the box

  • Other areas of improvements include Spring Boot, Gradle, VCS, Grails, Docker, JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript and SQL

More more details, please see the release notes. Your feedback as always is very much welcome in our issue tracker.

    Hi,
it would be fantastic if you develop a way that when the caret has double/triple brackets consecutive forward, it still jumps by TAB keyboard.

Thanks for the response, when I go to the above URL and download the mac installer. It always downloads the regular ultimate edition. It doesn’t download EAP edition. After installing in my mac it always says no valid license. Am I missing something here?
