IntelliJ IDEA 2018.2.8 is released!
We have just released an important update for IntelliJ IDEA v2018.2! If you are still on v2018.2, then please update to this latest version: IntelliJ IDEA 2018.2.8. This update comes with important performance and stability fixes along with fixes for Spring Boot, Tomcat, Gradle, and more!This minor release also fixes a couple of issues related to Gradle import. The IDE can now import Gradle projects when you use JDK 9+ as your Gradle JVM.
Also, this build contains the fix for the performance problem, that caused an OutOfMemory when indexing a large project.
Also, with IntelliJ IDEA 2018.2.8 we have addressed a couple important issues related to Tomcat and Spring Boot support.
