Improving security for open-source projects is a priority on the global IT agenda. DevOps have contributed to creating a framework with many opportunities and challenges in which the Java industry and ecosystem continue to evolve, fostering software supply chain security.

In this session, we will deconstruct security for open source projects and in the Java ecosystem. We will present the challenges, opportunities, and recommendations via real-world scenarios to improve the security management of your new and existing architectures based on an approach supported by DevSecOps principles.
