RubyMine 2.0.2 is baking up (RC)

Eugene Toporov

While we’re working hard on new major features in RubyMine, we’ve gathered a number of issues that should be fixed sooner. Hence, here is the Release Candidate for RubyMine 2.0.2, the next minor update for current version.

We’ve updated our support for Bundler, RVM and other cutting edge stuff. We’ve also improved our HAML and SASS support and fixed some other issues you reported.

Download RubyMine 2.0.2 RC, check out the Release Notes and shout on the forum if something does not work for you.

And if you are curious to know what we’re working on — stay tuned.

Develop with pleasure!

Hi Eugene — Kudos to the Jetbrains team.

    You guys truly rock!

Now one little rant: man, it’s incredibly difficult to get debug working on RM under Windows 7 64 bit — i do know you guys have nothing to do with ruby-debug-ide bitching to build on environment X,Y or Z, but here’s the thing: the graphical debugger is certainly one of the KILLER features in RM — perhaps you could consider bundling a pre-compiled build of the debug related gems?

Eugene, I see Rubymine 2.0.2 RC now carries a pre-compiled version of ruby-debug.
