    Do you know if there is any plan in fixing that issue: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-153973 ?

    @Ekaterina Prigara.
    Ekaterina, could you prompt, please? Phpstorm has excellent “Database Tools”. Now I use WebStorm as a node.js-developer. But I very liked “Database Tools” when I used PhpStorm before. How can I install this tools to my WebStorm? Because I have not found “Database Tools” among Plugins, or any information about this.

      This plugin is now available in WebStorm. One of the reasons is that MongoDB, one of the most often used with Node.js databases, it not supported in these tools.
      Please vote for this feature request and follow the updates on it: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-13293
      Please also consider our stand-alone IDE for databases: https://www.jetbrains.com/datagrip

        Also: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-6171

        I’m not involved (I don’t care), but I was curious and checked. I must say I don’t understand why this is an issue and some of the responses.

        Is the reason technical or political? I think users are a lot more understanding of technical issues, and it is not obvious that this is one, since the platform is the same.

        By the way: Communication around this IDE that I like (using IDEA and WS) for me is too “careful” and limited. I’m missing a free forum (free also as in answers from the vendor are “unfiltered”). It’s only useful with enough user interest of course, and maybe that doesn’t exist, seeing how so many responses to the 2016.3 release (both IDEA and WS) are about icon design (meaning it’s possible most other developers have neither questions nor comments or real problems).

        Ekaterina, I have latest licensed WebStorm 2016.3.1. I follow File -> Settings -> Plugins -> Browse Repositories. Then I type “database” into Search field. And all I have this list of plugins: AsciiDoc, Database Navigator, DbUnit Extractor, Graph Database support, Iedis, k-infinity, Magento DDL Generator, Sql Generator, Sql Generator, SQLScout (SQLite Support). Where can I find “Database Tools”? You wrote that it is now available in WebStorm. JetBrains plugin’s list have not “Database Tools” too. I do not catch how it could be installed? Thanks for advance.

          Sorry, my fault: there’s a typo – not “is now available”, but “is *not* available.”
