YouTrack 7.0 Release Candidate is Out!

We are glad to announce that YouTrack 7.0, code-named Inception, Release Candidate is out!

YouTrack Inception brings a lot of useful features. Those who already tried YouTrack 7.0 EAP builds know about most of the them, but let’s have one more quick look:

    I am unable to upgrade or do a clean install. The service can’t start. If I start it manually from cmd.exe (as admin) using the command line in the services.msc properties page:

    C:\YouTrack\launcher\bin\JetService.exe jetservice /debug “/settings=C:\ProgramData\JetBrains\YouTrack\conf\internal\launcher.service.settings.xml”

    I get this output:

    Not sure why it fails to register service.

    I’ve tried upgrade install. Uninstall and reinstall with upgrade. Uninstall and reinstall without upgrade, then doing the upgrade on the wizard page that shows up after install. Same results.

    Okay, after a series of reinstalls, and downgrading, then reupgrading, I managed to get this to work. I’m not sure what was wrong.

      how did you get it worked? the service fails each time i try to upgrade\install it – already try several times

          i tried upgrading from 6.5 to 7 –> the upgrade procedure fail! and now it doesn’t work its urgent and i already email your support all the logs, don’t sure how to make it works –> it fails in the Jetbrains service start,
          please assist me on this
