Discount for Former Students Increased From 25% to 40%
We know how important it is to get acquainted with quality tools and good developer practices early on, and this is why we provide students with free access to all JetBrains IDEs.
Since the launch of our Support Program in 2014, the number of students using our IDEs through free educational licenses has reached 2.6 million. We at JetBrains are grateful to all of them for choosing our products as some of their first professional development tools.
We would also like to help students who use our products have a smoother transition into professional life so that they can continue using their favorite IDEs. We’ve decided to make our tools even more accessible to recent graduates by providing a greater discount on the renewal of their previously free educational subscriptions.
Up until 2023, those who had a free educational license were eligible for a 25% Graduation discount. Now, when your free subscription expires upon your graduation from an educational institution or bootcamp, you can renew it at 40% off the original price.
For students from academia, this is also an opportunity to start using our continuity discount right after graduation, instead of waiting 2 years. Simply renew your educational license within the first year of its expiration and all following renewals will be at 40% off!
This offer is only available to graduates who had free educational licenses and whose licenses have expired. If you fit this description and would like to purchase a license, log in to your JetBrains Account and select the product you want to buy from the list. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
Please note some important details:
- The Graduation discount can be applied toward the purchase of a new (monthly or annual) personal subscription to any single JetBrains IDE, dotUltimate, or the All Products Pack.
- The Graduation discount cannot be combined with a student license renewal. You can either renew your license for free or purchase one with the discount.
- If you are an academia graduate, the discount can be applied to purchases made within 2 years after your free license expires. If your free license expired less than 12 months ago and you’re no longer a student, you are also eligible for this discount. Not sure if you qualify? - Commercial training and bootcamp graduates can use the 40% discount for 6 months after their free license expires.
