Early Access Program Features

IntelliJ IDEA 14 EAP 138.1503.3 is Out

Today we have just released a fresh IntelliJ IDEA 14 EAP build, as always packed with new features and enhancements.

Everything what’s new is listed on the download page, but we’d like to highlight several improvements and explain them with a little bit more detail here.

First of all, the Reset Current Branch to Here action now available from the Git Log:

Then, the Find in Path is improved a bit: you can now opt to skip occurrences in comments and/or string literals:

The Rollback action is now available via the Ctrl + Alt + Z shortcut (Cmd + Alt + Z for OS X), so you can access it a lot faster:

Build tools integration now lets you disable Maven profiles and provides better support for processing resources in Gradle projects.

Feel free to share your feedback in our discussion forum and report bugs directly to the issue tracker!

Why setting line breakpoints in code decompiled by IntelliJ results in method breakpoints?

Because line numbers in decompiled code almost always differ from original. Please vote/watch IDEA-127182 for progress.

Thanks for the bugtrack ticket, the decompiler is not very useful without this feature.

Is new Git Log Viewer available in commutiy edition? Can’t enable it – still shows old Git menu.
