Free PhpStorm licenses for Drupal contributors – rules update
Over the past 5 years, JetBrains and the Drupal Association have built a strong collaboration together. JetBrains continues to support the Drupal Association and its Community as a Drupal Technology Partner, offering core contributors free access to licenses for the PhpStorm IDE.
We had 250 Free Personal Licenses available for top Drupal contributors. Before, it was not clear enough who was eligible for these licenses, causing some misunderstanding when some requests were rejected. We would like to make the process clearer and more transparent, thus now all Drupal contributors with 35 or more issue credits gained over the past year are eligible for a free PhpStorm license.
If you are eligible, please fill out the online license request form to receive a free PhpStorm Personal license (be sure to mention your Drupal username).
PhpStorm is the IDE of choice for many Drupal developers, providing Drupal-specific features for Drupal 8/7/6 including functionality for modules, themes, and core development. Learn more about Drupal Support in PhpStorm in our web help.
