Eugene Toporov

Hello, stranger, you have reached the blog of JetBrains Web IDE. Web IDE is the internal name of the new Integrated Development Environment for web developers that provides incredible HTML, JavaScript and CSS editing abilities, also bringing extended PHP support to those who need it. JetBrains Web IDE EAP is now open for early preview. Read more.

If you have not yet downloaded a Web IDE Early Access build, please do so from the JetBrains Web IDE EAP page.

And, it is also a good idea to subscribe to this blog RSS to receive updates on new EAP builds and read the cool stuff we’ll be posting here from time to time.

Develop with pleasure,
JetBrains Web IDE Team

Glad to see JetBrains product for PHP. But I could not figure out how to post a question on JetBrains Developer Community > Web IDE > Discussions. I have a question regarding PHP debugging. It seems that Web IDE disconnects (do not listen anymore for the XDebug debugger) after it allows to step through the code that serves initial URL in the Debug configuration.

To avoid spam anonymous users can not post to the community. You can find Register/Login links on the community page http://www.jetbrains.net/devnet/community/wi at the top-right corner.

Currently PHP support, including debugger is in active development. So the problem you report is very likely to be resolved in the nearest EAP builds. I’ve create a Charisma issue for it http://www.jetbrains.net/tracker/issue/WI-135, please watch it to be notified when it’s done.
