Code review workflow in Upsource
Like any process, a code review consists of a sequence of steps. Depending on the needs of a particular project, the number and complexity of these steps may vary. Some teams prefer a laid-back ad-hoc approach, while others are very thorough and follow a scrupulous procedure.
Upsource doesn’t impose any strict workflow, leaving your team a large room of choices for your code review policy. Whatever choice you make, we find it essential to allow both the code author and the reviewer to collaborate in real time. We also make full code insight available for the reviewer, so that his or her valuable time isn’t wasted on issues that can be found automatically.
