YouTrack Mobile: Fast, Lightweight, and Full of Features
Have you tried YouTrack Mobile yet? It’s a great way to get instant notifications and manage your tasks on the go from your iOS or Android device.
If you aren’t currently using it, we encourage you to give it a try. If you’ve tried it before but stopped using it, we’d love for you to give it another go, or update to the latest version. You’ll find that a lot has changed and improved!
YouTrack Mobile is lightweight and fast, and provides a whole lot of functionality for managing issues while you’re away from your computer. You can create, edit, and comment on issues, change assignees, add and manage time-tracking information, and much more.
You can even work with Knowledge Base (create and edit articles, attach files from your device, etc.) and Agile boards!
The Agile board viewer adapts to your screen size and allows you to drag and drop cards between columns and swimlanes. You’ll probably find this easier on a tablet device, but even on a smartphone you can do a lot with boards on the go.
YouTrack Mobile also performs wonderfully as a notifications assistant. In addition to the “bell” notifications screen, you can get push notifications about all events that you are subscribed to in YouTrack.
Getting an instant alert when someone comments on an issue you are watching is a great way to keep conversations flowing and maintain momentum, and it makes the mobile app worth using even when you’re sitting right at your computer.
