With YouTrack Server, you run YouTrack on your own infrastructure and keep control of your data. For enterprise teams, YouTrack Server scales to over 100,000 users and supports organizations working toward GDPR and SOC 2 requirements. It integrates with your existing identity systems and provides real-time monitoring.

YouTrack Cloud is hosted and maintained by JetBrains, with a choice of Amazon Web Services (AWS) regions in Northern California, Frankfurt, Ireland, and Singapore. Both versions offer the same functionality, so you can choose the hosting option that fits your team. You can test your migration import with YouTrack Cloud and later move to YouTrack Server with all your data.

Projects, Knowledge Base, and Helpdesk in one solution
Another reason customers migrate to YouTrack is to bring several tools together in a single, cost-effective solution. They can manage projects, organize documentation in the Knowledge Base, and handle B2B customer requests and internal service desk tickets in YouTrack Helpdesk.
Whiteboards, Agile boards, Gantt charts, AI capabilities, and other built-in YouTrack functionality help teams cover more of their everyday work. All YouTrack features and full technical support are available with every license, whether you choose Server or Cloud, including the free plan for up to 10 users.
If you rely on Atlassian Marketplace apps, similar capabilities may already be built into YouTrack or available on JetBrains Marketplace. You can also recreate additional functionality with YouTrack workflows or custom apps, either in-house or with our consulting partners.

Start free and choose a plan without the high cost
YouTrack is free for teams of up to 10 users. For a larger migration pilot, you can get a 60-day YouTrack Server trial for up to 10,000 users or a 14-day YouTrack Cloud trial for up to 100 users.
When you’re ready to start using YouTrack with a team of more than 10 members, choose a monthly or annual per-user Cloud subscription or an annual Server subscription based on user packs. YouTrack’s total cost of ownership can be up to 70% lower than Jira and Confluence combined, before adding the cost of service management and plugins.
You can start using YouTrack Helpdesk for free with 3 support agents and unlimited reporters. If you need 4 or more support agents, you can switch to a paid monthly or annual subscription, starting at €6 per agent per month.
Eligible organizations migrating from Jira or another competing tool can also apply for a 25% migration discount for the first year.
AI on your terms
We believe AI shouldn’t be forced into every step of your workflow. With YouTrack, your organization chooses how to use it: connect your preferred AI tools, IDEs, agents, and workplace apps through YouTrack’s remote MCP server, enable the built-in AI Assistant, or switch it off completely. On both Server and Cloud, your data stays yours and is not used to train AI models.

YouTrack’s AI Assistant is included at no additional cost on free and active paid Server and Cloud plans, with free AI credits replenished weekly. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce Ask YouTrack in Q4 2026 and support connections to your own AI providers and models.
