ReSharper C++ 2023.2 EAP: Introducing AI Assistant
Like many others in our community, the ReSharper team has been fascinated by AI chatbots. As we played around with this powerful new technology, we thought, wouldn’t it be cool if you could skip all the extra steps of prompting the context and switching tabs, and bring the best of AI right into your IDE?
Starting from this EAP build, ReSharper has its own integrated AI Assistant ready to chat in the dedicated tool window (ReSharper | AI Assistant).
Our AI Assistant is specifically designed to help you with programming tasks. Need a hand with an Unreal Engine project? Just type a question, and the AI model will help you create, understand, or refactor the code.
Confused by a modern C++ language feature? AI Assistant is there for you with all the reference information and ready-to-use code samples.
Please note that the JetBrains AI service may not be available for everyone immediately. For implementation details, read this blog post.
